As a designer I look to be proficient, cost-effective and a team player everyday. My name is Robert and whether its print or web, I look to make an impact in either field I go into. I will continue to invest in the commitment of life long learning.
During high school I took all the Media courses that were available. I enjoyed those classes so much, I thought going into the Media Design field was a perfect fit for me. So far it has! Although I was afraid to commit to this degree, because I thought you had to be an artist, to be a designer. Well that’s not the case. If you can convey your ideas with simple drawings, you can make it happen on screen.
Throughout my entire life I have been a closed off person. Always keeping to myself and working alone. In the short time that I have attended the Media Design program, I have come out of my shell more than I ever imagined. It’s still a work in progress, but I know communication is essential in the workplace. Even though my fear was not being a good enough artist, being able to communicate well has been the hardest.
